Richard

When would you expect to be publishing the RnR for Britcon? Want to know what sort of armies I will be losing too...

Good grief, I don't even have all the lists in yet.

No surprise there. Was not asking for the RnR, just rather (based upon experience) when you expect to put them out. Don't mind if it is only 3 or 4 days before the comp to be honest...

Hi Timmy,

from experience, don't expect to see the lists before Sunday.

If you can keep a secret I can tell you there'll be at least two Swiss armies. Not because they're tournament tigers, but because they're very forgiving to players who expect to be 'hard of thinking' on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Hi Tim

if you are good at keeping secrets I can tell you they'll be a couple of Late Imperial Austrians, just to get people looking in the list books, not sure its a tournament army but it'll be fun to play

cheers

Smart work. I make it 26 entrants but even so...

Ballsy choice from Paddy and Alasdair for an open Comp but the prize for most exotic list has to go to Mr Parish...

Interesting to see who can stop Alasdair...

1st & 3rd seeds - I suspect a 'cunning' plan.

Well I took the Ming to Rampage so I thought I should go for a more mainstream and European list for Britcon ...

And Kuruc rebellion has very interesting allies

Certainly has. The PLC provides a very nice ally at that time. Also the army could be both very wide and quite high quality with loads of support troops.

Yes, you may well hear the rustle of Hussar wings rushing through the air coming from my table. To balance out the speculation I should say that I've practiced only once with this army - and then I lost badly to a Scots Royalist, so there are definite downsides to this list.

Perhaps not . Do not forget, there will be 2 of us for whom it will be first game ...we have just finished painting the armies and FOGR is only beginning in Belgium . We come to learn the rules and spread the good word in Belgium ( first fogr tournament in january ...)
