First, is Spartan (purchased 3 yrs ago) compatible with Windows Vista? Second, when I do install it then go to play it, a small window pops up saying 'This application has failed to start because D3DRM.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.' But when I try to re-install it's the same thing....? I did install and play this same game on an older pc with XP so it does work; when I did it seems I had to disable something but I don't remember what. I'd shore like to play this game again, it's been a long time. Thanks :D

I think it has to deal with the direct x, but idk
you may have to install direct x 9 for it to work.
Hope it helps :)

There is a patch available for this on our website. It is because Vista does not include dx9 and prevents you from installing it. Good old Microsoft :)

Thanks guys, that worked perfectly, now it's up and running again after over 2 yrs of collecting dust :D Incidently it worked from the game folder in my OS. For your future reference, I'm running Vista with an ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics driver and this patch is all I needed to get it running again, in case anyone else has the same OS software and has this same problem. Take care and thanks again, awesome game :)
