Oxford Doubles - 3rd/4th September 2011

The Oxford Doubles will be held at Fitzharrys School, Northcourt Road,
Abingdon, Oxon, OX14 1NP over the weekend of 3rd/4th September 2011.
We will be offering the following competitions: -
FOG AM –The Rise of Islam and the Decline of Byzantine 629 AD to 1204 AD (No Heavily Armoured Knights) – 900 points
FOG R – Open Competition – 900 points
DBMM – any army that is within the dates - 476AD to 1071AD - irrespective of what book it is in - 500 points
AK-47 reloaded – lists 1 – 15 excluding Middle East – 500 point

There is ample parking on site and refreshments will be available during the day.

Thanks for the info. Assuming that the FoGR is quorate, let me have the results and I will include them in the rankings (unless Alasdair wins again when I might not...)

Unlikely as we are taking a silly army, well silly by my definition, ie it contains foot and no horse with any type of armour and of course some artillery to keep Paddy happy

We are in the realms of typical wargamers ,IE not many entries yet, I know we are close to Britcon but if you are planning on coming can you send entries asap,at the very least the caterer would like to know

With everyone concentrating on Britcon it has been decided to extend the date for entries until Sunday 21st August. That still gives you 2 weeks to send our lists to the list checker.

There were four armies entered from Duty & Glory. They occupied the bottom four places.

It might have helped it I had read the thread more closely
It looks like they are listed by date of the army.
And a nice variety of armies they are.

You know me Dagestan is silly but fun, lots of mounted, unbalanced but will tear around the table causing choas if is can, list is Caucasian States in Clash of Empires

great to see the variety in the armies, and plenty of players.... really wish I could make it to more tourneys as not a lot of games going on around here.....
need to move further south it seems!
