In old panzer general you got on a decisive victory a prototype unit. This means a unit which you are currently not able to buy.
The special units i dont like much.
On Germany scenario i got a Panzer 3L. Why such an old one?
Btw do the special units start with 0 experience?

Not in the original Panzer General you didn't!!!
And I'm happy this has not been implemented in Panzer Corps, I'd hate to have things like Tigers in the invasion of France or anything like that
EDIT: And yes the Special Elite units come with 0 xp

@Fritz, the SE units can be upgraded, just like other units. Also, another thing you should know is that SE units don't take a deployment slot. So, for example, if you have 2 SE units and the current deployment limit is 22, you'll actually be able to to deploy 24 units. They are very valuable because of this.

SE units have better statistics. Attack and defense.
Worse defense!

Elites die more gallantly...
SE units need a boost to be true elites: give them +1 to BOTH Attack and Defence, or something alogn those lines, and 1 experience Star, imho.

I like the idea of having a worse defense. I think it reflects the hopped up morale of the units (better attack numbers) but in the end they bleed just like the rest of us.
