First off I must say this
is a challenging game! I mean, it's a heck of a lot harder than the Panzer General that I remember from the 1800s

. I dl'ed the game Friday and proceeded to spend 21 hours straight playing, no food, only water and juice

. After reading a lot of this forum today, I realized how much time I wasted in battle when I could have used mass attacks and strategic bombers. I never once got a Decisive and now I'm on Russia battlefield pt 2. I have a feeling that the Moscow or Kursk battlefield is going to finally break me, so I ask you guys, was there a patch to stop the Unit Strength carryover from one battlefield to the next?
Oh, I also didn't know there were cheats till today, now I'm tempted to use some of them lol. This is a great game guys, definitely $ well spent!

You want to reset the strength from scenario to scenario within the campaign? Or in other words you want free replacements at the begin of each scenario?

Pretty much yes Sir. Was just wondering if someone had put an option to start surviving core units from battlefield to battlefield back to 10.

You need to do that yourself during the deployment phase and can chose between Elite or Regular Reinforcements. You can also "over-strengthen" them at that time as well. One of the key differences between Panzer Corps and Panzer General.

Sorry no patch. It was designed to be this way.
Note that only the elite replacements will cost you prestige points. The green won't cost any prestige point in the deployment phase. But there's a price, with green you'll loose some of the unit's experience.

An option to turn on free elite replacements between scenarios exists, but it can only be applied to a new campaign, not existing one. If you are struggling with prestige but don't want to start the campaign from the beginning, cheat codes are a good choice. You will do better next time.
