GS v2.01.11 beta impressions

I've played some solo games with GS v2.01.11 and come to October 1940. So far I've found out the following.
1. Having to take out Holland and Belgium at the same time means that the German air units are less forward than before so you have to rebase most of the air units to get range to the units near Paris.
2. Taking out Holland and Belgium in one turn is quite easy, but you won't get the west bank of the Schelde river unless you use a paradrop.
3. Since the Allies can defend the west bank of the Schelde and the Germans will have slightly less air firepower for at least one turn it means the Allies can probably hold Paris one turn longer than before. When I attacked in March 1940 then Paris fell on the second June turn instead of the first June turn.
4. Axis losses were slightly higher, including air losses. If the British fly aircover and repair losses each turn it means the Germans can get rather weak in the air with just 3 fighters. So maybe the Germans should build a fourth fighter as soon as possible to ensure air superiority. That was rarely needed before.
5. Taking out Norway and Denmark in August 1940 (DoW time) was rather easy so I don't see an issue there.
6. Going after Yugoslavia and Greece seems to follow the same time line as before so the game is in sync with GS v2.00 from the time the 2nd Vienna Award is signed in August 1940.
The main difference is that France holds out one turn longer than before. If the Axis try to compensate and try to get a first June fall time then they might end up with Axis unit kills due to attacks not supported by airstrikes. I think it's safer to allow the slightly longer capture time and attack units at better odds.
I think we need a bit more data before we can make conclusions, but I can't see how the Axis can overcome the fact that their air units start further from Paris so you have to rebase most of them to get range to the Seine line. So the conquest will take longer. That's fine for the Axis player who goes for Barbarossa, but the player who wants to do Sealion, might end up short of time to succeed.
What we need are some playtesting by people doing blitzkrieg instead of sitzkrieg, i. e. attack Holland and Belgium in 1939 and use the winter to slowly move towards Paris.
