Couple questions

I'm still thinking about buying this game and want to be sure it fits.

Does it handle high res like 1920x1080?

Do expansions simply add content to the game and the whole game uses all the content from all installed expansions with one exe?

or is each a separate mini-game with individual exe shortcuts?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure about the res.

One exe

The individual expansions primarily add 25-30 new armies and graphics to build and use in multiplayer/ single player (although you can fight in mp vs players who own armies/expansion packs that you dont own.

The expansions usually add a new universal game mechanic r two, however Slitherine patches up the game so you get the new core feature without having to buy the expansion.

Hope this helps.

Definitely helps. Plus I found where it looks like the game supports hi-res widescreens.

The game supports all resolutions above 1024 x 600. The highest we have tested on is 1980 x 1080 approx., the only limit on higher would be your graphics card RAM but 128Mb and above should be OK for even 2550 x 1600 resolutions (Apples biggest display I think!).

Ok that all sounds good and I think the AI will be fine for me so I used a few bucks from savings instead of waiting and bought the game and saved $5 on ror.

Thanks to everyone for answering all my questions in this and the other thread.
