We have put the models up for sale on our webstore. Note that they are available in FoGR unit sizes to make purchasing them more convenient.

Rather than depicting them as the iconic Spanish conquistador, we decided to make them as they seem to have actually appeared. We relied closely on the depictions of Spanish colonial troops in Ian Heath's book on armies of the Americas in the 16th century. The classic morion would have come rather later, and many troops would have adopted protection and dress more appropriate to the Americas, such as the thickly quilted fabric jacket that many of our troops wear.

We've gone for the mid 16th century, basically, so swordsmen, crossbowmen and arquebusiers, but plan to offer a pike and shot unit soon as well (the pike element is already sculpted).

Thanks! Here's the link:

You are really making this tough on me. While I have to finish my Portuguese (which many of these Spanish can mix in as well), I am torn between the Spanish and the coming Machupe. I still need to get the rest of my Chaco wars troops - not sure when the support weapons will be coming out. But these guys look great.

Dan, you will see some of them on the table in the not so distant future.
