Gentlemen: is the range of the 88 in the anti-tank role too short[the unit must be next to its target to attack] given the current demensions of the hex?

It seems to me its and as such negates the range advantage the weapon enjoyed [NB:I think Battlefield Accadomy did this well but it is of course a different system]

There is no set scale to the game, however I think many "imagine" the game to be brigade or even division sized (per unit) so a hex likly would be 10-15 k across.

88mm AT has a very high initiative rating which models its range advantage. On the game's scale (hex size is typically within 10..20 km range) direct fire across several hexes is not possible.

Thank you all for your responses[ a forum that I have awaited weeks for responses could learn from how you take care of your customers]

I could foresee a issue therefore in the Afrika Corps expansion [..what did I say?....] in how the 88 would be modelled for desert warfare
