Norway's Victory Conditions: Rewards for Marginal Victory?

I noticed something odd about the victory conditions for Norway. You are not penalized for getting a Marginal Victory (MV); in fact, you are rewarded for it. Here's what I mean: I saved my file at the very last turn for getting a Decisive Victory (DV). I took the last Victory Hex and started the Low Countries (LC) with 2161 Prestige (P). For the heck of it, I loaded the save and then played it out to the very last turn. Took the last VHex and then started the LC with 2681P. The Campaign Tree shows that a MV or DV brings you to LC with no penalty plus I received 500P more by waiting it out to the end. Some maps, there are consequences for a MV, but Norway actually rewards it.

Now, shouldn't you get more Prestige for the DV? I understand that we get about 50P extra per turn, but there should be a way to reward the better victory. For a solution, I think it the 50P per turn could be stopped once the DV turn has passed. And/or, the bonus Prestige amount should be increased for the DV so that you start LC with more Prestige than with a MV. As it is now, I play for the MV so I can get the extra experience and the extra 500P (it really comes in handy for LC). A look at the Campaign Tree shows that a couple of other scenarios look like they could offer the same opportunity of no penalty for a MV and rewards you with more Prestige than a DV (ie. Kiev gets you to Barbarossa either way). I'll check it out as I go along with my current campaign. Maybe, some other people have already noticed it on other maps?

The reward for finishing Norway with a decisive victory is not having to play that map for a single turn longer. Treacherous terrain and dreadful weather! ;)

But on a more serious note, if and when we have online ranking, we'll probably have some sort of single player and campaign scoring as well. And when we do, it'll be worth more 'points' to get as many decisive victories as you can, which will be worth more than how much experience, prestige, or kills you've accumulated.
