I am playing the tutirial campaign - Probably me but I can't find the answers to these questions ;

1. What effect does Zzzzz 'sleep for a turn' do?
and
2. Often I cannot add replacements or elite replacements to a unit, either when nowhere near an enemy unit and not having moved, often for several turns.
Is this because it requires more prestige points than avaialble to do it? It always seems to let you refuel however.

Reading the manual helps.

Z means it will not recycle through for that turn when you hit the N key for next unit.

Yes you need more prestige. So you have to think more in PC than PG because Prestige is constrained allot of times.

For details on prestige costs, you can mouse over the 'replacements' and 'elite replacements' buttons and they have details on how much strength costs exactly how much prestige.

Thanks for the prestige cost hint.
Is it possible to find out how much prestige is awarded for capturing cities/destroying enemy units etc - or is it a random factor?
Clicking on a city hex doesn't seem to bring up any values.

It can be modified but generally it is 50 for a flag and 100 for a primary objective.
