Reading Hindu Indian list it says vijayanagar and others except Rajputs can field bunduqchis. This implies Rajputs can't field them but I'm pretty sure there was a famous siege of a Rajput fort by the mughals where the Rajputs had Muslim bunduqchis mercenaries , not allies, who pretended that their wives and daughters were captured slaves and marched them out the captured fort pretending to be part of the victorious Mughal forces. Or have I read the list wrong?
