Greetings,

my question is: how can I identify auxiliary units, I mean the units which are taken away from my pool after the scenario ends.

I remember that in the original PG they were marked with different color strength plates.

I hate to overstrength a unit just to recognize, that it vanished between two scenarios.

Core units have a thick glowing golden border on their strength plates.
Aux units have a thin silver border.

Your core units have thick golden shiny borders around their strength plates, auxiliary thin silver. It is a bit different than the original, but now you know it.

Thanks for the real quick answer. I guess, that this is explained somewhere in the manual, but I didn´t mind reading, I wanted to play
