Hello guys

I just found out about this game and now my Download is almost finished
Someone here up for some skype/mp sessions ? Im pretty inexperienced regarding Wargames, but i loved PG back in the days. The last Hex Strategy i played was Shattered Union, which i think is much much easier than this.
Anyway, looking forward to be part of the community

Make sure you start with the tutorial and read through the manual, the game has plenty of tooltips and tutorial messages will help you master the game in no time.
Have fun,
Cheers,
Tim aka LZ

I'm pretty much in the same boat, virtually blind purchased this but I'm confident in the dev team

and note the pedigree and regard the original game is held in, so I have high hopes.
Also it will be nice to play a WWII title that is turn based and allows you to focus on the wider strategy, as opposed to being RTS.
I have downloaded the game but not yet had time to give it a whirl, hopefully I will be able to do the Tutorial tonight.
Also, anyone that is up for an MP game(s) in the coming weeks send me a PM too, albeit I might need a few weeks to get a grasp of the game beforehand before venturing into multiplayer.

I have beta tested this game and it is excellent. Harks back to the original PG, but has so much more to offer. And with the additions of Africa and more to come, a must have, in my opinion

Here is my run-down of the game after a couple of days.
A.I.: Pretty decent
Movement and Combat mechanics: Fluid
Scenario Selection: Good, but a bit on the large scale side. (Think PG1, not PG2)
Unit graphics: Acceptable.
Map graphics and artwork: Bland, IMO. A little more gloss and artistry here could really set the gaming mood. I know part of this is to maintain modifiableness. (Columbia Games wooden block boardgames had great map artistry and would make for excellent examples of what I'm talking about.)
Music: Cannot decide whether to have it on or off. Just not the magic of PG1's music. And I do not see why they could not swipe the historical Panzerlied tunes, since those could be in the public domain by now (it's been 70 years!).
Campaign design: Good. Will be great, once they get North Africa worked in.
Overall: Good solid game.

I played the Tutorials and stareted the 1939 Campaign on the 2nd Difficulty Level.
Poland was rather easy, but Norway is a tough nut right now

British navy giving me a hard time
But so far this game is really awesome (i wish i picked other units for my core though

)

I would suggest an animation of the units in the moving phase, like rotating tires for the trucks/artilleries or the tracks from the tanks maybe with a turret rotation. Just an example...

I dont feel I need movement animations.
I would prefer if the units in a fight face each other.

If you liked the original PG, you'll also like this one. I love the original PG (still play it, from time to time), and having bought and downloaded this game last night, I LOVE this game as well. Can't wait to get back from work to continue my campaign. Or catch up on the sleep I missed last night.
This is a "just one more turn" game. Very dangerous.

You guys are brave, purchasing blindly. I will never do that. I will research a game to its entirety before I purchase anything.
There are too many overhyped-crappy games and game Dev's out there trying to take my money.
Panzer Corps is quality though.
