Panzer Group South vs the Dingo

Ok, so I'm rushing across the low countries when my panzers encounter a Daimler Dingo recon. Should be an easy kill right? Wrong. This thing desimated my panzers including my so called elite unit. Seriously?

I love my Dingo`s, still have the original Dinky Toys somewhere in a box at home, Go Dingo go...!

I did a quick test, and PzIIIF has 2:4 expected losses against Dingo. I guess, PzIV and elite PzIII have even better odds.
So not sure what happened in your case. If you see any strange combat outcome, press L to see combat details, this might explain what's going on. If anything in the details window looks wrong to you, tell us about it.

For a Dingo with an AT-rifle MK I are those odds too high!! (advantage for a Dingo!)

Advantage goes to PzIIIF, it kills 4 and loses 2. More specifically, PzIIIF has kill chance of 44% and Dingo - 19%.

thats how it goes sometimes, even attacks you should win, can go badly. Thats just the element of luck that everyone has, good or bad.lol No attack is a sure thing

i guess i shouldn't go walking in any lighting storms then...
i'd really like to know the mathmatical odds of a Dingo desimating 3 panzers. if it wasn't for the air power i divereted, he probably would have finished off my tanks.

When you were rushing... did you get ambushed?
I have seen the Dingo get lucky, but not very often.

The first Panzer did get ambushed and I lost a couple of kills. That was fine. But my other 2 panzers should have killed him easily. But they got hammered. Then in the next turn all 3 panzers fired and all got desimated. There was no rugged defense and I should have had a huge advantage for mass attack. I'd say that dingo got real real lucky. I was so afraid of this thing i had to divert airpower to help finish him off. jeezzz.
