Am I reading the rule right were is says LF cannot turn and interpentrate in the same move? (evades are different)
i.e. LF cannot turn 180 and retire through friends in same turn?

So it would seem last bullet left column page 68, cant turn and pass through unless you are evading. Good catch. Since we don't get any lights in our armies (ECW) guess it never came up for us though.

I read that bit (p68 5th bullet) four or five times this morning and each time it said (truly did)(no witnesses tho

) that a battle group being passed through couldn't turn. But you are right (the text magically having changed)...no BG can turn before or after passing through.

You are reading the rulebook correctly. But if you read the errata sheet you will see that this erratum is corrected therein.
So in fact they can.
