A couple of follow up questions.

Is the use of legendary items "always on"? It would be nice to have an option for them. :?
How detailed exactly are the nake fanatics and does that have anything to do with certain someone's taste them to be his favourite unit? :P
Glad to see the messenger idea catching up, is he going to be on screen or in any way possible to know how long it will get for your units to receive the new orders?
Is the game going to be shipped with plenty of "skins" for customization and is there going to be easy to create one yourself?
Confused, is the game going to cover the invasions to the east of Italy at all? I understand that as Rome you will attack certain greek cities nearby but what about the Balkans? Not asking for it, just asking, eh, you know what I mean.
I am not so sure about how the AI works its battle plan. If it is so linear, with the game itself being linear, will that not actualy reduce the amount of replayability? If you know that in battle X (simplified of course) the AI will bring its cavalry in the left for outflanking and leave its archers alone on the right, what is the challenge after you try to fight the battle 2 times and you know that a very specific plan will always work? OR, is it that the AI will change its plan after the start of the battle sufficiently enough to pose an extra challenge?

Wait a min, now multiplayer is back in the game?
Though it doesn't affect me at all, I like the idea of having subtitles. It is nice to think of the people who can't hear.

Oh, I had no idea! You worked on Deus Ex? You don't need me to say it but great game too!
And Phil on Dune Emperor? One of my favourite RTS, that I actualy re installed a couple of days ago.
I haven't played The Thing so I can't comment on that.

Very good interview, very informative.

I do rent :D , but in Spain renting a house is almost as expensive as buying it (per month, I mean)...

I bet it is not as expensive as renting a room (student, not including bills) in Wales. Average 300 GBP. :?
