Why not launch today?

The weekend is here and many folks are dying to play this game. So why wait until Monday if it's ready now? I tell you, too many games, especially ones that sell on Matrix, have this habit of launching the day after a long holiday or after a weekend. Folks want to game now. Am I right?

Consider this.
Think that this will be probably like your last free weekend, at least for then next couple of months.

Well as, how strange this may seem, developers and publishers are most of the time human, so have children and families and from time to time need to sleep and attend to every day live. So although most weekends are already sacrificed and 100+ hour weeks are common in this industry, releasing after a weekend on a Monday is, at least for the humans working in this business, most welcome. So the whole team is fresh and ready on a Monday for support, feedback, problem solving and at your service.
We understand this is not really acceptable, therefore our sincere apologies!
Cheers,
Tim aka LZ
P.S. I understand your Q, but this is really the main reason, we just need a little pause from time to time, as a week after release feedback is almost constant, and we prepare servers, shops and for us finally a weekend off before the storm begins and this after months of 24/7 weeks for us getting the game done and out.

The reality is we are not ready. We are doing final tests to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. Though however hard we try you can be sure something will go wrong somewhere!

You've got everybody pumped up - does it matter if we buy the game from matrix or slitherine? How are things going with Commander the great war? any updates?

You should see the awesome bug I found. It's actually possible to drag the entire UI frame around, under the right conditions.

I guess it's too late to properly rename it Panzer
Korps.

I prefer some delay but having a good developed game without great bugs! Take your time and do a good job!
