I haven't seen any reports on the beta list either if that is any consolation. I will try to get my report together in the next few days but things have been a bit busy of late.

I'll write a report, but it'll take me a few days to get around to it...

My army from Leeds for those interested:

1 FC and 3 TC
2 x BG each of 2 El
5 x BG each of 8 Ave UnDrilled Unprotected Medium Foot - Bow.Swordsmen
2 x BG each of 6 Ave Undrilled Protected Medium Foot - Lt Spear/Swordsmen
1 x BG of 6 Ave Undrileld UnProtected Light Foot - Bw
1 x BG of 4 Sup Undrilled HCh - Bow
1 x BG of 4 Sup UnDrilled LCh - Bow
2 x BG each of 4 Ave Undrilled Unprotected Cavalry - Lt Sp

Played 3 games.

Game 1 vs Andy Ellis with Greek Hoplites. Decided to stand and take it on in the open to se what happened. My shooting was not bad. On even dice I should have bust 2 out of 9 hoplite BGs. Sadly int he meantime Andy bust 4 out of 5 Bow BGs and some others. Lost 14 - 5 in APs and my army broke. Andy didn't realise his army was armoured in fact...luckily neither did I or I wouldn;t have even tried to stand against it an the test would have been a bit pointless. Anyway he duffed me up and used 100 less points!!!

Game 2 vs Hammy with Swiss. Played this in full competition mode and pulled the Swiss around a lot. Put flank march in that arrived and pulled troops away. The thinned down Swiss centre started to look a but vulnerable and a charge of 4 El together did for one BG busting a hole. The bowmen managed to pour concentrated fire onto 2 remaining pike blocks and broke the army with a good charge once one wobbled badly. My other winning area was a good performance fighting over a steep hill with the javelinmen taking a BG of halberiers down as well as hitting a Pike BG in the rar/flank later on. I think it was 14-6 to me with amy breaking

Game 2 vs Lawrence with Scots-Irish. A positive wall of unprotected cannon fodder to shoot at but in such numbers that ther always seemed tp b even more of them. A monster of a battle with dramamtic charges all over the place and big swings happening along the line. I managed to suffer 4 FRG results from combat in a row which nearly bust me. We then battled back to good effect breaking a BG with missile fire and another with a charge once it was wobbling. It ended up something like 16-10 to me when Lawrences army broke.

All games seemed good fun and historical and I picked up a dozen or so areas where we nede to clarify things. Whatever you do there is always the chance of a bomb going off and there is always a chance of a great comeback locally - there were a few rollercoaster rides to go on.

Hope that helps and I am sure the testers will post things up as well over the next few days.
Cheers
