2nd unit can't engage enemy after 1st unit has done so

Hi,

I'm new to wargaming in general and FoG in particular, so it's always quite possible that I've missed some rule :-) However, several times it happens that a unit simply can't make contact with the enemy, even though they are well within range (and my unit is facing the right way).

Which rules might be relevant here? Are there any rules from the paper version of the game which I don't see in the computer version documentation?

I just saw another thread called "Supporting unit can not attack after unit has routed" which is similar, so I'm wondering if this is a bug. I think I have some saved games where this happens - I'll have a look.

Edit: OK, stupid question, how do I review a saved game? I.e. see which moves were made. When I load a game, it just shows me the victory page.

Can you give an example - it could be the unit is not allowed to charge that type of unit. A screenshot would be best!

I have the game saved - is there a way to review the moves turn-by-turn?

I think it was King Cleomenes' hoplites trying to engage after some other hoplites (well, Reformed Spartan Phalanx) had engaged some Achaeans (protected/armoured medium foot, armed with offensive spear?)

Did they have the option to attack before and it disappeared? They may never have had the option. A screenshot at the time is best. Let us know if you see it again.
