Some questions after the the game...

Hi guys! I have some question after the last game. Please, help me if you can. :)

1. Can I make a shifting move during the Advance Move with a single wheel?
2. Which rules should I use when drop back bases in pursuers move? I mean, how many bases can I drop back during one pursuit move?
3. Can I expand BG front during purpose move?
4. How should an Artillery in Close Combat be conceded? Is it Medium of Light Infantry?
5. Why there is no POA for Better Armour against Artillery? Why lightly armored gun's crew ignore a Heavy Armour of Knights? I was really in perplexity by this line in table...

P.S. Sorry for my English.

IIRC
1. Can I make a shifting move during the Advance Move with a single wheel?
You can shift in a simple advance, which may include a single wheel.
2. Which rules should I use when drop back bases in pursuers move? I mean, how many bases can I drop back during one pursuit move?
The pursuit rules state that you drop back bases to stay in contact and that is the rule used. Drop back those bases that allow you to stay in contact. No more, no less.
3. Can I expand BG front during purpose move?
A BG may expand and move if drilled and after passing a complex move test, unless LF or LH who do not need the test. The expansion is done before the BG moves, not during and not at the end.
4. How should an Artillery in Close Combat be conceded? Is it Medium of Light Infantry?
They fight as artillery and have artillery factors on the table.
5. Why there is no POA for Better Armour against Artillery? Why lightly armored gun's crew ignore a Heavy Armour of Knights? I was really in perplexity by this line in table...
I think, since they fight at minus against everything they were considered bad enough already.
Consider. The knights get + for sword. The artillery get - for being artillery. An extra plus/minus for armour would make no difference as the knights are already ++ to the artillery --.

I don't believe this is correct Phil? See Page 45 - 'if all bases move the full distance straight forward'. I read that to exclude a wheel.

I was thinking shift to avoid friends or terrain. (It states at least one front corner must move 1MU. Which would indicate the other didn't have to, meaining its a wheel). The specific exceptions are below that line anyway.

I mean shifting to 1 base width when making full Advance Move.

Then I would be wrong. See Pete's answer.
