How do I know which difficulty level I'm playing on?

Is this displayed somewhere? Where? It is not intuitive if it is. Also if I save a game at a certain difficulty level, how do I know what it is? If not, please add it somewhere.

When you first select your scenario or campaign, it is displayed.
Until this is integrated into the save files, an alternative for mid campaign save files is to use the description box. It provides plenty of opportunity for noting items such as difficulty settings.

Not very user friendly, but as long as we have a way, I guess that will do. Thanks.
