Are POAs affected?

During tonights saga with Dave R we had a couple of interesting situations. Dave managed to throw a dice out of the room into the roof space. He had to borrow a torch to find it and said it was a 6 - should this count?
The second point was when a bird flew into the room and proceeded to crap of one of Dave's units. Should this count as a -POA in the combat? I do not think it makes any difference but it was a Swallow - no jokes about one swallow not making a Summer.

Well, clearly it was a 'fully laiden swallow', at least when it entered the room... and ceased to be a 'fully laiden swallow' after it 'unloaded'.

Ray Duggins I recall used to be particularly exasperated by his dice. It got to the stage where throwing them across the room was no longer sufficient (they're quite light so he wasn't getting sufficient 'heft'). Hence a string of 1s would lead to him picking up his metal and plastic chair and throwing it back down, giving a nice bounce effect.
On one celebrated occasion where things were going particularly pear shaped, the chair bounced up and landed, perfectly upright on the table, missing all the figures. Does etiquette require the chair to then stay in place, perhaps as an impassable feature?

I'm fairly renowned to be a complainer of dice... but if I ever did that to a player I would expect that they would thank me for the 25-0 victory and be within their rights to never play me again.

In Ray's defence he did win the best sportsmans prize at Britcon 2009. And I do believe the incident happened at the club, Reigate, and who wouldn't do that there.

I was a bit worried at Rampage by the appearance of huge, and I mean huge, dice on the table next to me at the mid-point of Sunday. They certainly looked like they had the potential to do serious damage to the opponent's army even when rolling a string of 1s, and in trying to make sure they rolled away from the figures on that table they did seem to be heading in my direction a little more than I was completely comfortable with. Fortunately the owner of said dice seemed to be fairly resistant to dice rage or I fear there could have been a swathe of destruction right across to the other end of the hall.

Indeed, Ray's an excellent chap, and it was between friends.

Yeah, that joke came out during my D&D days... when we were to take 1d6 worth of damage. One guy bought a 6 sided die that was around 2" to a side. We thought if you were going to have D6 damage, that was the one to do it.

Reminds me of when we were on our honeymoon in Las Vegas, learning to play craps at a beginners session. After being instructed to throw the dice hard enough to reach the end of the table, my wife launched them and they left the table and hit the pit boss at the next table, who was half asleep by the looks of it and got a sudden wake up !

There was a chap who had a ceramic skull and used to shake his dice in it until one Sunday morning after one of Steve Charltons 'evenings'. This chap shook his dice in the skull once making an extremely annoying noise and the survivores of the SC evening turned on him to a man and beat him to a pulp!!

When Bob said, Dave do you want to come over for a game, there are birds everywhere, it wasn't quite what I was expecting I must be honest.
