Apologies if this explicit in the rules but I've struggled to find it.

Which POAs does a base fighting as an overlap count?

Does it count it's own plusses and ignore the enemy's as it is not fighting back? IE - if I overlap a 4 deep pike BG, do I still count as fighting 4 deep pikes?

Or would that be too much of an advantage?

They count as fighting the unit they overlap. This needs to be made clear - possibly an example where the overlapping unit has different PoA.
