A) My first impressions of the game:
1) after 30 seconds:
1Interrupted my play on the main menu to write my first impression.. nice pictures in the main menu..but it took me a while to understand where should I start… found the play button for the tutorial on the bottom of the screen.. I think it would have been more convenient to put it above the rest of the menu.. and the main menu.. it’s too difficult… what is what?) some explanations appearing on the bottom of the menu when moving the mouse across the campaign pictures would be nice.. the years are kind of understandable.. but they repeat.. don’t really know why yet…. Ok.. returning to the game now..
2) 5 minutes:
5 minutes of play caught me still in the tutorial mission, reading all the pop-up explanations) very useful.. I won the first mission in 5 turns.. but I think my losses should have been smaller.. will work on that) next tutorial coming up.. reading.. maybe should a voice in the background, reading those explanations, help here).. moving on..
3) 15 minutes:
Found first bug..(( after understanding that my units move from mission to mission with me, I decided to restart the tutorial at the third turn, but instead clicked on autosave that was at the top of the list.. the map loaded.. I clicked to upgrade my units that were damaged, then clicked end turn, but the turn did not end.. the game froze(( loading the game over..(
4) 1 hour:
Finished the tutorial missions.. Great game!) Moving on to play the campaign. Only one thing still bothering – German letters.. I don’t know them.. maybe it’s better to use English.. of course, Chinese letters would have been even worse for me, but still..)
B) Performance:
1) Is the game too slow on your PC? Great speed! Playing on the laptop!)
2) If yes, what problems exactly you experience? None
3) what system configuration do you have? Acer Aspire 6920G
C) Usability and UI of the main screen:
1) Is it intuitively clear how to control the game? Yes! Except for the campaign menu
2) Is the UI convenient? Yes
3) Do you like the existing mouse interface, or would you prefer a different one? I like it as it is.
4) What useful information do you miss in the UI sidebar or the main map view? Unit’s detailed information maybe…
