I've been keen to get into a WWII Grand Strategy game for awhile and CEaw 2.0 is very attractive. Just a few questions if I purchase it do I need to upgrade to the recent GS 2.0 release or will it install straight up to the latest 2.0. (OK just seen that GS 2.0 now comes as standard install). From reading the forums it appears this is mainly geared as a PBEM game. Assuming taking a turn per day how long would an average game take to complete? How long does a typical turn take to play out?

Turns represent approx 20 days each, so the game takes a bit to complete at 1 turn a day - someone who notes such things will be able to tell you exactly how many turns.

PBEM is the only real way to play it.

The key though to yes/no with the game is to remember that its probably the the best strategic CORPS level simulation you will find - so if you want Germany to take out Russia and the USA you won't like it!

It is however a very good game if yo are after a European Theatre simulation with a good numeber of variables to cover 'what ifs'.

Plus, its cheap really!
