Possible bug: Casualties reported in the statistics screen

I just noticed that the casualties reported isn't exactly the same as the steps lost. I just started Barbarossa against Ronnie and destroyed 3 Russian mech units on the first turn. The statistics shows 35 steps lost and 3 units destroyed. The problem is that excess hits when a unit is destroyed is counted too. When a unit is still alive after the battle then the steps lost reported is ok. But when e. g. a 3 step mech unit suffers 5 hits then 5 casualties are counted instead of 3 (the remaining steps of the unit).

This means the casualties shown with steps are actually more than the real number of steps lost. Should we fix this so we only count the steps lost then a unit is destroyed and not the number of hits the unit received when it was destroyed?

The most excessive could be when e. g. a 1 step garrison is attacked by an armor. The loss is 10 hits and the unit is destroyed. Then the report shows 10 extra infantry casualties while the real casualty was 1.

Should I fix this?
