Hoping someone can answer a few thinngs for me.

1. I thought that if you select a bombard like B-26 or Artillery strike that if you hold down the shift key it would show you the area effect grid. However this does not seem to be the case for me. Is there a trick hotkey to see the area of effect?

2. Bocages. Can someone explain how it is determined whether or not a unit will fire through a bocage? It seems to be rather random whether or not a unit behind a bocage will receive fire or not. I've only seen the AI fire through them. I've never had a LOS through them to fire on an enemy unit.

On board arty will show spread but not off board or planes. You have to be using the bombard command.

I hotkeys are in the Manual Additions sticky.

Bocage you have to have your troops adjacent to the bocage for them to see through and fire through. However this also makes them visible to armour that cannot see through bocage. The reverse is that enemy troops moving to bocage will appear to your troops that are close enough.

I'll need to experiment with the bocage and LOS.

I have a bad tendency of bombing my own troops with off board bombardments, so I was just looking for an advantage with targeting. Just need to give more stand off I guess.
