evade from flank march

If a bg evaded from a flank march can it still shoot in the shooting phase?
It hasn't moved in the impact phase aftet all!

Just wondering if there was anything elsewhere preventing this.

Movement and Shooting, p81. last bullet, last bit; chargers and evaders cannot shoot.

It does but it says more as well. The second bullet says you can't shoot if you moved in the impact phase.
The third bullet talks for a bit about support shooting but then says "Chargers and evaders cannot shoot." and then explains that the authors think such shooting wouldn't do much.
You might say that this clearly only relates to the impact phase as it's in a bit talking about support shooting. But since it's there in black and white with a explanation of the 'because it would be rubbish' variety it seems fairly clear that you can't shoot.

I'm with Graham on this. An evade is an evade regardless of whether it occurs in the impact phase, manuever phase or any other. For example, an evade capable BG contacted in the Maneuver phase due to a BG turning 90 or shifting.

No. They arrive in the manouvre phase.

it can be the solution to make them more interesting.. they can arrived in the impact phase like chargers with VMD and cathiing troop that cannot go away... ??? With this rule troop in 6' evade during the impact phase and not manouver phase..

IIRC those BG that cannot make their evade move are destroyed anyway

I'm agree with that , but those who can evade cannot be catch as you don't charge you must stop before contact them. . LH in FLank march cannot somtimes made their full move... .
