Hi.

Yesterday I installed my game of CEAW to skip the time until for Panzer-Corps

. While whatching the installation screen, I realized that there are .class files copied on my HDD. Quite surprising, I must say. Right now, I study Business Informatics. Software Engeneering and Programming turned out to be the most interesting lectures for me. There for, I already made my first babysteps in developing games. The common term here is: Java is not made for games.
So, may I know why the game was written in it anyway? Or if that statement turned out to be wrong after all...

The developer who wrote the game only knew Java - its as simple as that!

Never the less, it is one of the biggest Java games I know. Very impressive.
