Playable campaigns?

Since I cant access the Panzer-Corps page right now, I am going to post my question here:

How many playable campaigns will be in Panzer-Corps?

Obviously, a large German one. However, I always enjoyed the smaller ones in Panzer General 2 like the Russian or Allied. Will the game have these aswell?

Thx.

You have 5 German campaigns:

- Tutorial campaign
- 1939 - Early Blitzkriegs
- 1941 - Operation Barbarossa
- 1943 - Eastern Front
- 1943 - Western Front

Hmm, if the campaign structure is similar to the original P-General, you should have quite a few battles taking place in N Africa :)

It is not similar, Afrika will most likely be our first expansion. And it will be super cool, DAK and Rommel deserve some extra love and attention.

Ahh, when I saw the AAR with the huge Norway map I jumped to an eronious conclusion. Looks like more work cut out for scenario desighners before the expansions start coming out . cheers!

Now, I hope in the initial launch, there are still a few scenarios in North Africa, and that your meaning is there may be a more flesh-out campaign expansion later on that deals with this area.

Just so there is no misunderstanding or false assumptions, it should be stated for the record that with the 1.0 release of PzC, there are no North African scenarios. Most of the pieces are there (including a fairly well stocked roster of Italian units that you can play with in a couple bonus MP maps we did include), but that is all there is. So far anyways!

Wow, that is a surprise.

Keep me posted when you get that expansion out or patch those scenarios in. Being a Desert War buff, I'll probably hold off on the game until I feel the scenario and campaign situation is more complete. Hopefully, that will not be too far off.

Thanks for the info.

Don't worry, it's not. Definitely the first thing on the list. :D

I have just finished an amazing book on Erwin Rommel (by Benoit Lemay a French book), relating some of the battles that took place during WWII.
I guess the PzC will be the perfect place to reproduce those fights, and put one's foot in his glorious steps.

Could an Allied Campaign be modded in?

What are your plans for these expansion campaigns? Paid or included with the purchase price?

so will these be separate campaigns or will these add-ons be integrated into the Grand Campaign? I would prefer both :)
