Thank you for the chance to beta this game. I am a software programmer (old ada code) for the military so I do this a bit in real life.

Download: Instructions clear. Zip worked good and installed with no problems.

Game intro screen: Nice and simple. I did press the button which took me to the beta forum first by accident. Its slightly unclear of the first step you should take.

Into the Game: The first day weather and items. I did not know what to do at first. I finally figured out I had to click the screen to get started. A message that explains to click on the screen to get it started maybe helpful to a newbie.

Game play first turn: As a vet of panzer general 2 (my favorite game of all time) it is very similar. I liked how it showed the move for the inf as truck or walking. The allied armies are almost the same colour scheme as the German on a quick glance. It maybe helpful to have something that shows the Allied forces differently. It was also slightly confusing as to the goal I was going to take. The instruction maybe made slightly clearer. Again as a panzer general vet it proved no problem to myself.

First move and combat. Very clear and consise. I did like the battle sounds and clearly saw the odds before hand. Its good to have the rugged defense as well. I have to say I did not like the arty being able to retreat from the panzer attack. Arty should not be able to move very easily, in my opinion. Still not a big deal. Overall very similar to panzer general 2. I enjoyed it.

Each additional move and combat operation: Enjoyable. Easy to understand. Pushed the enemy back easily. Give a newbie a good basic idea of the need to use combined arms, but with simple commands.

Buttons, maps, menu, etc: The weather, and turn button could be made a bit clearer. I performed the normal moving cursor over each item to see what it was, but it is not clear. Maybe a quick tutorial over the buttons before hand or during the first move maybe helpful to a total newbie. Sadly I did not use the small map very much. Everything worked that I pressed with no problems.

Final victory: I won. Good. However I did not get the idea I did until I hit the next turn button. I think a message to tell the person of the victory might be a better way of informing the user.

Overall: Very good. Stable. Fun. Easy to use. Very much like Panzer General 2. This was clearly based on that concept. A few minor tweaks to help newbies and it would almost be perfect. However, I would like to be able to name my General.

Again, thanks for this chance. I will update this after each mission or new item I perform.

Thanks for all the feedback.
The weather, and turn button could be made a bit clearer. I performed the normal moving cursor over each item to see what it was, but it is not clear.
When you hover over the weather you get a tooltip, on top clicking on the weather icons you will get even more info.

Second day playing impressions.

I forgot to include my PC info.
AMD Athlon Dual core 2100 mhz. 8 gig ram. Windows Vista.

Played the Barbarossa campaign.

Good: Very stable. No noticable bugs. Enjoyable.

Bad: I really, really miss overrun from panzer general. Can you get that in panzer corps?

I so far have no real issues with the game. Stable (which is so nice for a new game, esp on my older PC), sticks to what it is suppose to do, and fun. I will be on the buy list.

I will continue to report. Thanks, overrun sure would be nice though.

Overrun was in Panzer General 2. Panzer Corps it seems to me to be inspired mostly by PG1, even the maps are similar. PG1 was on a larger scale (brigade/division) than PG2 so an overrun function would be rather unrealistic I would think.
