My first impressions

Great !
The first impression was great. Crisp graphics, the library is amazing, i would like to see much more units there.

I'd like to point out some things i did not enjoy:
Some of my units icons seem to be reversed, as if they are opposed to other of my troops; this causes some confusion.

What i liked about PZ1 and 2 is that i could name my units, they had a commander and so on, this led to a more personal feeling
and it looked as if you could customize your army. This lacks on PzCorps and i feel it like a great loss.

About the game play. The action on right click seems a little too much. Here is where i would had made an action with left click and options (info , refuel, replacement, embark) on the right click. Perhaps i will get used to this, but right now it kind of tires me . This is a game i intend to play for hours and days...the interface must be as stupid simple as possible. There are to many left and right clicks involved in any action, and it's very annoying.

Also, when you first fire then move, the unit does not remain selected, so you'll have to left and right click several times...in the PZ1 and 2 it was much easier.

Unit movement. Sometimes when i attack and destroy an enemy unit, my unit automatically moves in their place. I do not want that to happen, maybe i want another , stronger unit to move there when i want.

From the graphics point of view, i would like to see something different when i destroy an enemy unit, like a little explosion . :)
Childish, i know, but that kind of details make a game rewarding.

You guys took all this effort to render the units in 3d, why is this not implemented in the game, at least with a couple of views according to the direction the unit goes or attacks.

I will play it all night and come back with more feedback.

Kind regards,
Ed

Thanks for feedback - if you go to the options you can revers the mouse controls - select Classic and you'll be happy. Units can already be named - check the shortcut keys for info.

Thanks for the feedback

This is intentional that enemies always face each-other during battle, it was added on popular request and I admit it looks a bit strange in the beginning, but once get used to it, quite logic.

You can rename your units, just use Alt+N,a short key list can be found in the library and later also in the manual.
Heroes, battle history and awards are in the game, you just unlock them during the course of te game, see Alt+click to get the Unit Info Panel and Battle History

You can set between both click options in the Systems Menu on the main UI

There is an explosion, really, not too dramatic I admit.

We have considered this in early design, but in the end really liked the clearness and retro style of the classic sideview much better. So a deliberate choice on our behalf.

I finished the norway scenario in the first campaign, i discovered two things:

The sdfkz 222 seems to have unlimited moves, i can go around all the map with it.
I accomplished all the objectives and destroyed all the enemy units with about 16 turns left, but no victory message,
when there were 7 turns left i got the "marginal victory" result. without doing anything more.

Kind regards,
Ed

PS. It's an amazingly addictive game...i'm about to give up a "hot" night to play more of it :))

Just on a side note we have a confirmed victory bug on the Norway map in RC1, so it is a bug, thanks for reporting!

First Impression - Just finished the Poland scenario. I found the graphic good, you might want to make the infantry icons a bit larger for those of us who are not 20/20 vision. Opening graphics were very nice, I liked the way the whole into was done.

Possible problem - Just played the Norway part of the early 39 Blitzkreig campaign on 2nd easiest level . Had killed all land based allied troops with 14 turns left, game thought that there were still existing Allied units. I did have troops on every victory objective.

Thanks, yes that is a already confirmed VC bug on the Norway map, we are on it.
