Nope that's it, those 2 extra convoy ships sunk ended my chances for winning. GG
After the upcoming PBEM update, I hopefully won't ever need to make a thread like this again!

P.S.
As I said in Wargames:
Yup that's it, GG.
The problem with these 1 offense 1 defense scenarios is the winner keeps winning.
If offense gets enough steam, they capture too much which gives them a ton of prestige to continue pressing forward.
If offense gets stopped early, their ability to do anything is pretty much crippled.

Isn't that how it would be in a real military encounter? Initiative is everything.

I'm a gamer's gamer though. I prefer fun and game play to take precedence over realism or historical accuracy in my video games.
Everyone has different states though, and hopefully there's something to make everyone happy in our stock multiplayer maps.
Big maps, small maps, 1 offense 1 defense maps, dual offense maps, VIP maps, early war maps, late war maps, lots of nation variety, something for the whole family.
I just prefer dual offense or VIP over 1 offense 1 defense.

Dual Offense? What is that? Where there are captureable hexes like in "who gets there first has to defend it kind of stuff?
I'm not a newby, been playing wargames since I was in the military in '77, but it's a gaming term I'm not familiar with. . .
