Any way to get rid of these pathetic bleats, e.g., "We're doomed", "I can't take it anymore"? I can't identify the sound files to delete them.

Are there any sound mods available?

The sounds are all in data\sounds. The sound files are specified in data\sfx#.txt with one file per language. It details what each SFX does so should tell you what you need to know.

I love Battlefield Academy and don't really ever notice the sound effects but for me its the French "Nooooooooooo!" its so awkwardly drawn out lol and I know people have mentioned that one before. But BA is brushing me up on my high school German, not just the phrases in the game but playing German opponents in MP. Slitherine should have paid homage to the most famous of all sound effects "The Wilhelm Scream" and snuck it in somewhere!
