When you throw your dice for your flank march, do you have to declare your modifiers?

Seems a bit of a giveaway if you have to state your flank march is entirely mounted, or includes an inspired commander. Also could be a bit tricky if the flank march might be straggling with some of the negative factors.

I think that so that your opponent can verify that you have done it correctly, without having to write down all your dice scores, you really do have to declare the total modifier (but not the exact details of what makes it up).
