Slitherine

I have just played the desert rats mission, as German's the objective being to capture the flags. I managed to capture 1 flag and got absolutely murdered with only 4 trucks and infantry left, the defender lost about 3 units in total and was in total control, as I couldn't possibly win I surrendered the battle thinking this would give the win to my opponent, only to see the mission completed flash up on the screen, I spoke to my opponent to confirm the outcome, he confirmed that I got the win.
This cannot be right or there will be players capturing easy objectives then surrendering and getting the win, I hope this is a technical glitch.
Don't get me wrong I'm glad of the win but isn't fair.
