hard attack

Just noticed that the hard attack for the Jagdpanther is more than the hard attack than the Jagdtiger? is this right. The panther gun was 8.8 and the Jagdtigers was 12.8!

yep i posted this in the 0.98 i think it could be depending on the different penetration of th 9,9cm L71 and the 12,8cm L55 ... but penetration is not all, i think the higher damage is also important, so i think too that the hard attack of the Jagdtiger must be raised ... in some articles you can read that the Jagdtiger was able to destroy any opponent with one shot ... (ok depending on range, etc. etc.) but what i mean is ... it was a damn powerfull weapon and LARGE ... the Jagdtiger had 2 Loaders ... all other tanks and tank destroyers had only one ... the reason was the ammo of the jagdtiger ... 2 parts, like naval cannon ammo ....

If memory serves, the Jagdpanther has the same 88 the King Tiger has (There isn't just 1 type of 88 ), and the King Tiger also has a hard attack of 24.
The Jagdtiger has a nice higher SA, but I think the HA should be buffed to around 20 or 22ish.

Bigger does not mean better, the Russian 122 had better penetration than the 152, the 57mm ZiS-2 had better penetration than the 76mm ZiS-3, the 75mm KwK 42 L/70 on a Panther had better penetration than the 88mm KwK 36 L/56 on the Tiger and the 88mm on JagdPanther was better than the 128mm on the JagdTiger if you doubt me please read my source:

See, I knew it. 57mm had better penetration than the Russian 76mm.
Still, 19 on a Jadgtiger feels a bit low. I would prefer to see 20, maybe 21.

Yes Jagdpanther, Elefant (Ferdinand) and the Kingtiger was armed with the 8,8cm L71 ...
the Jagdtiger was armed with 12,8cm L55 ...
when you compare the penetration the 8,8cm L71 was slightly better because of the higher v0 ... but the damage of the 12,8 was higher ... when you search in wicki you found tables with the penetration on different ranges and different angle of the armor 30/60/90 degrees ...
so the hard attack should be at least equal ... in game?
