Just finished the campaign with the invasion of Great Britain. I managed a marginal victory and still managed to win overall- I had expected a counter attack of some sort, or to have failed overal and have to defend ready for D Day. However the USA sued for peace. A pity, as I had hope to carry on with the invasion of the US! Is this only available as a scenario?

To get to USA, you have to get a decisive victory in a Sea Lion and a Moscow.
So a 1939 campaign, or a Barbarossa 1941 campaign will possibly let get you to USA as part of your campaign.
The other campaigns have too late a start date to branch to USA.
