First impressions

I found the first 30 seconds good. A bit hard to navigate through the screens to find a campaign or scenario. The fist five minutes was spent trying to figure out how to buy units and move them. The whole using the right mouse button is opposite to Steel Panthers and PG. Which is frustrating. I finally figured out how to get things to move and still went back to old habits of left clicking. Then trying to get units to attack was hard to do. It would be nice if they would face each other. I played the first scenario in about an hour and kind of got a feel for the game. I do like PG and steel panthers, they seemed easier to use from an intuitive view. Left click, then left click on the target. Right clicking is killing me.
I found it hard to move units, I had to place the point exactly on the small center and then make sure I right clicked. It was easier in other games.
The game is a good speed. The whole kills for each side was a bit hard to figure out.
It is not intuitive, especially with PG experience on how to control the game. Took a long while to figure out then it was a fight to keep in mind how to work this game. Also, Recce units did not expose enemy units. Nor could you click on the enemy units to find out what they were.
I miss the ability to get rid of the sidebar. And to quickly move units around, the whole point with mouse and make sure it is in the center, then right click to move is hard to remember.

So, I managed to get through one campaign. Once you force yourself to get used to right clicking everything- frustrating- it goes by quickly.

Some comments about the gameplay-

1. I have not found out how to remove core units, other than killing them off.
2. Artillery does not provide defensive support fire.
3. There is no sound when a unit is destroyed. they really should have that.
4. No manual that i can find.
5. A lack of leaders like PG had.
6. Artillery ranges are too short, especially for the 105's and larger. Should be 4, not 3.
7. I find it hard to figure out the exchange rate before I attack something.

PC does get addictive after you train yourself to think in new ways. And use the right moue button. The campaigns are good, but how the rail transport works is still a mystery.

Thanks for the feedback, things like missing leaders, sounds, combat prediction, etc... is because we were still working on them, but of course they will be in the game, hopefully most already in the next build.

I just finished writing the manual, so that still needs proofreading, editing adding art and screenshots and some polishing, so probably not for next build yet...
