Minor setback, found a critical bug that was disabling MP games at the 11th hour, getting it fixed now.

You guys have me quite confused. All I see is a 98, no 99. I also have not recieved an email about any new beta, and when I try to download the file from the download threat, it gives me a 98 binary all over again.

It is not available yet - Kerensky is a bit eager!

Coming any second now!

Just a tad, but it's good we caught that bug when we did, was almost too late. I wouldn't forgive myself if that went live.

Awesome, a couple of questions:

Will saved campaign games work with the .99 version?

Does this version include the massed attack feature? How do you initiate it?

PC coming along nicely now w/ every beta. Downloading .99 for a new spin, and noted the things in it to look out for as per another thread.

It´s in the beta for a long time now but nobody really discovered it before 0.96 :D if you place more than one unit around an enemy and attack him there will be something like a suppressing effect. It makes life much easier especially when you have no support units to lower the enemy´s entrenchment value.

Good thing you caught the MP bug as I tried to load our saved game 3 times.

Works now, but have the tutorial messages and I can not shut those things off.

By the way.. right before your Victory I re-took my city back. Mu ha ha.....

ok so there is no seperate option to attack either as an "individual unit attack" or in a "massed attack"?

So... will it will just automatically be a massed attack with surrounding units assisting with an attack directed by one unit, and those units that assisted in the "massed attack could still move and fire after that massed attack takes place?

Also... will my saved campaigns be playable with .99? They have shown up in the saved games list, even though I did run the control panel uninstall for the previous version

thanx

Yes saved games should be fine. YOu may not get the benefit of all fixes and changes as some of them would require you to start the game in the new version but it should all work.

Ok so let´s begin :)

-the new difficulty settings are way too much 3 or 5 level should be fine (i.e. on my first playthrough I took 3/8 and finished norway at round 12/27)
-the general difficulty should be better balanced, on the 3/8 game the units of the enemy wasn´t stronger then 8, on 4/8 the enemy had overstrengthened units, 4/8 should be the normal amount of 10
-your core units are counted when they are placed not if they are in your roster, so you can buy over twenty units in the france scenario at the start of the game, bug or intended?

In the first Sea Lion scenario, right at the start, I can´t overstrengthened my units?!? Even when they have 3 stars I am only allowed to repair them, though it worked well in the france and netherland scenario before.

Yea, if .99 went live as planned, all multiplayer games would cease to function. That would have been... ugly. But we found it and fixed it, thanks Rudankort! :)
