Hi,
As any thought been given to producing a naval version of FoG - Sea of Glory ?
Starting with galleys etc.... through to later battles e.g Lepanto.
Just a thought - to my knowledge no PC version exists does it ?

I know of no PC game that represents battles in that time period either, although Shrapnel games was working with a developer for a game called galley battles for some time... Appears to be vapour ware by now though... I think the best one can find are realtime "pirate type" naval games, sadly.

I would buy that game in a minute. Turn-based age of sail/ancient sail games are on-existant and I think a lot of people would play them if they did. Avalon Hill's Wooden Ships & Iron Men was the last turn-based computer game and that was 16 years ago!

Same here. Although I doubt it will ever happen, I'll keep on dreaming of something like that ...

I would buy such a game as well. With battles ranging from Salamina to Lepanto, that would be great!

Same here - disappointed and annoyed that Shrapnel's 'Galley Battles' was allowed to fall off the radar like that
