can a battle line be any of the following and should they be? All theoretical so may not happen in real play.

- one BG wide but, for example, 3 BG deep, thinking on table flank marches with light horse

- as above but in a one wide column.

- something like this, ALF, BLF and CLF = LF BGs, same for HF

- or BG echeloned down the table only touching rear rank to front rank.

The name suggests that a BL should be wider than its depth.
