Slitherine

Just starting out with FOG and I'm planning an army based around the 10,000 on their journey back to Greece (401-399 BC). I'll post the units and also which models I'm thinking of using, any comments on legality, capability and historical accuracy would be appreciated:

C in C: Cheirisophus (Spartan field commander) (haven't decided on models for the commanders yet!)
Troop Commanders: Timasion, Xenophon

1 BG Spartiates (8 bases): Zvezda/ HaT 1:72 hoplites
2 BG Spartan perioikoi (8 bases): Zvezda/ HaT 1:72 hoplites
2 BG Mercenary hoplites (8 bases): HaT 1:72 Thebans
2 BG Peltasts: HaT 1:72 Alexander's Thracians
1 BG Light Horse: HaT 1:72 Alexander's Thessalian Cavalry
1 BG Cretan archers: Left overs from Zevzda boxes

When you build an army like that you'll love it -- win or lose.

You'll just have to find a Later Persian opponent.
