I know its not going to change anything but why is this army so short of good troops -

1. Why arent they allowed superior lannsnecht - did nt henry pay enough ?
2. Why arent their reiters allowed lances - even heavy - they carried boar spears
which were one assumes designed to pierce armour - reference george gush
Also these are the WORST reiter u can have - only pistol on shooting !!
3. No heavy artillery - what about the 12 apostles he dragged across northern france
4. Why are the gentlemen pensioner gendarmes only average - there are only 2 of them
and if they represemt the knights who charged at pinkie into scottish pike blocks -
the bulleners - surely they deserve better ratings.
No point - i will only use early henrician as later is hopeless=- just interested

Fundamenatlly because we felt that as a "backwards" army it should be a bit below par.

Basic FoG top down philosophy. If they are primarily shooters their capabilities are given to get that effect on the tabletop, if they are primarily combat troops likewise.

As they were superceded this sems about right - they are a transitional troop type.
