Slitherine

Have just started today playing the new beta 0.98. I like the new touches for amunition, movement etc. I think they work well and have made things a lot easier. Not sure if it is my imagination, but there seems to be more/flames/explosions when attacking a unit. I am now trying to take Moscow on a normal setting and I am surprised at the little resistance and lack of Russian tanks I am meeting. Is this because I had a major victory in the previous scenario, or am I in for a nasty shock when I reach Moscow? I guess I will soon find out. I like the new opening screens/menu too, much better designed instead of just a long list of scenarios

I owuld break out your anti-T34 spray as I am sure the Russians are hiding a mass of tanks just outside you vision range. I think when I hit that scenario it was pretty nasty surprise time for me too.
