General bases

Do they need to be 40mm frontage?
They can be any size without affecting the rules much but we want to keep an upper limit and 40mm makes sense as they fit with others. But by all means mount them on circular 30mm bases if you prefer. It won't affect the rules.
One thing I am planning is to jazz up all my generals so they stand out from the crowd. I will probably put them on circular bases myself so they look different - but its just a matter of choice.
