Various Comments & Observations & Questions

First of all, I'm enjoying the game very much.
1) Enemy air units stacked above the unit they've attacked appear very small & are easy to overlook.
2) I don't see a way to return to the briefing screen, seems as if there should be a way to look at it again.
3) What are the values for a gold bordered enemy hex compared to one that has a flag with no border?
4) Would be nice to have a visual indicator (on the unit itself) for units low on or out of supply, especially air units.
5) Is it possible to buy transport for infantry units already in the field?
All for now.

1) under the map, there is an option to "highlight" air units (also enemies) so they will become larger
2) & 3) There is absolutely no point in doing this (for my understanding) because the gold bordered hexes are your TARGET LOCATIONS that you must hold at the end of your turns. So go for gold! (and maybe for nongold too because of the prestige)

))
4) For air units (which are low on supply) you´ll get showed a safe passage that directs the unit to the next friendly airport. every other way is red bordered. For ground units it´s not so critical.
5) Yezzz. Just hit the upgrade button and you are free to define a transport in the lower area of the screen^^ I´m not sure but I think you have to click on the right kind of infantry (the current one) in the upper fields at first.

To upgrade a unit in game it has to start in a city hex. You can then upgrade it so you could buy it transport or make it newer equipment. I saw some where the devs posted that you can not build new units at a captured city until you have held it for at least 3 turns, the upgrade option may also apply to this but not sure myself.
Cities with flags with gold border are the victory hexes, you have to hold them all to win the game. Other city flags show who currently controls them.

Tab key will switch from ground to air mode, air mode your air units are larger and will display over any ground unit in the same hex, I also have a problem seeing the air units if they are not alone in a hex
