Thank you for the opportunity to assist with the beta. I cut my teeth on PG2, so this is a dream come true.
The game downloaded and installed without a hitch. I'm a RTFM type of guy, so I looked for the manual that's not there yet.
Oh well, I'll try the first tutorial scenario. No instructions, but, the interface is very intuitive. Got into the game and kicked some butt.
Played the next two tutorials before I realised that there is a tutorial campaign. Somedays I'm like that.
I'm now starting the sixth battle in the tutorial campaign and having a wonderful time.
Comments:
1. First 30 seconds: I soiled my linens with excitement.
2. First 5 minutes: Found my way through the interface well enough to start playing. Had some questions, but patience paid off. I figured out what I needed to.
3. First 30 minutes: Mucking my way through the battlefields having a gas.
4. Read your comment about the facing of the various units,is this going to change? Some times it seems weird when the units are battling each other and facing in opposite directions.
5. Other items that I thought could be issues, I usually figured out by being patient. For example: the inability to select an already used unit. (red slash) I clicked, right clicked, double clicked, pushed keys, ctrl-clicked, finally figured it out. Ya can't select it.
Will continue playing, er... testing the game. Thank you again for this opportunity.
