Secondary missions for goodies

I am not craving for any serious changes, just to implement optional secondary errands.

The concept would be like this: no penalty for failing it, but some random reward for accomplishing it.


I have several ideas like:

* place a bridging unit on x river, so your retreating units wont be trapped (on defending missions, and there should be a minimum limit, for instance they must hold their positions for 3 rounds or so)


* capture a certain airport, so that reinforcements, supplies may be dropped

etc, i am sure that you & the fans & beta testers are going to come up with great ideas.

the rewards should be free prototypes for the next mission, some cash, or free upgrades
(or some nice chick for me lol)


What do you think about this idea? Has this been suggested yet? I hope it wasnt :D

It sounds great but I dont think we have time for this stuff in the initial release. These type of things would be very cool for any future addon.

I always loved being awarded advanced prototypes. I also liked the CAPTURE of enemy equipment in PGIII. It does give the allies some fun knowing if they PUSH things, they could just get awarded some nice panzer. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the axis capture a few T-34s, etc. A look at the top tank aces shows quite a few of them scored many of their kills in captured T-34s.

This was also one of my favorite feature from the PGIII games. I understand if it doesn't make the first release of PzC, but I think this will be a VERY good idea for one of the many future expansions for the game. 8)
